Shizuoka City takes the notification at the household registry and residents section (戸籍住民課) on the first floor of the Aoi, Suruga or Shimizu ward office, on weekdays from 8:30 to 17:15. If day 14 falls on a weekend, a holiday or the year-end break, the deadline moves to the next day the ward office is open. Hamamatsu is a separate city with its own offices.
